Teacher Profiles
Sue Kehoe is our first grade and second grade teacher. She graduated from Oakland University in Rochester, MI with a BA in Elementary Education. Sue started her career teaching second grade in Grand Blanc, MI and later first grade in Flint, MI. As her family grew, she decided to home educate her three children. After her children graduated from High School, she accepted a position at St. Peter’s Lutheran School . Sue especially enjoys her time at St. Peter’s Lutheran School because of the freedom she has to daily share her faith and enthusiasm for Christ.
Sue Griffith is our second grade teacher.

Teacher Profile
Janis McKenna is our third and fourth grade teacher. She joined our staff in 2008, team teaching in the fifth and sixth grades with Karen Bailey. Janis is originally from Pennsylvania, where she earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University. She then moved to Maryland, where she taught for fifteen years before moving with her family to Big Rapids. Janis and her husband, Clark, have three children whom have attended St. Peter’s School. Upper Elementary

- Stressing activities that lead toward active participation in the upper grade levels.
