Teacher: Mrs. Alaine Massey received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan (now called Concordia University) graduating in 1987 with a music major, planned program minor, and Lutheran Teacher Diploma. She continued her studies at Eastern Michigan University receiving a Master’s of Education degree in 1992, focusing in the study of Language Arts.
Mrs. Massey has taught kindergarten-4th grade, as well as led the lower grade music programs at two different Lutheran elementary schools. She has also served on the Lutheran Schools Music committee, played flute in various bands and orchestras, sang in numerous choirs, and played in and directed handbell choirs.
In her spare time Mrs. Massey enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and 3 children, baking (and eating) chocolate chip cookies, and cheering the Detroit Tigers on to victory.
